Salty Australia Swimwear is a luxury swimwear brand for men that people can rely on for quality, timelessness and sexiness. With so much out there and so much production exported nowadays, our aim is to keep our business as local as possible, and only outsourcing internationally for the bits and pieces that meet higher quality standards than what can be found here in Sydney. We select a high-grade fabric made from at least 78% recycled polyester or Nylon, which is made in Italy- it is literally the best of the best! You can feel the difference on the skin, a product that is made to last and hold its shape, and keep you feeling fresh and sexy when hitting the beach or the pool side. Salty Australia Swimwear is about being and feeling inspired, confident in the person that you are, and catching your dreams. Our name is inspired by our gorgeous Australian beaches- there’s nothing like the sensation of when you hit the fresh salt water, cooling your skin after lazing all day in the sun, just snoozing on the sand. A relaxing meditative timeout ritual every Aussie does and deserves when the days of Summer arrive.
HOW OUR PRODUCT IS MAKING THE DIFFERENCE
Each year, 8 million tonnes of waste end up in our seas, and over 13 million tonnes of textile waste end up in landfill. But thanks to 620 fishermen and fish farmers working together with 170 volunteer divers, hundreds of kilograms of discarded fishing nets are being retrieved from our oceans every day.
These fishing nets, along with discarded textile waste, are retrieved and undergo an eco-friendly chemical process to be reconstructed into a new nylon lycra yarn that’s better than ever before. This product is known as ECONYL® and it’s what you’re wearing when you wear Salty Australia Swimwear.
